Junk Mail
Friday, December 21st, 2007I was just noticing how much junk I have in my inboxes. I have 3 web based email address that I use for different things. At one point they each had a certain purpose. One used to be my primary ebay account, since I don’t sell on ebay anymore I don’t use that one as much. One was one of my very first email address that I have had for about 10 years. Anyway these email addresses all have a spam filter, which I use, and takes out a lot of junk out of my inbox. But since these 3 email addresses are the ones that I use whenever I expect junk mail if I sign up for something then they have a lot that goes in the inbox as well. Usually I ignore the messages I don’t care about and just read the ones that I want to. Today I was noticing just how many unread messages I have.

A new survey found that 98% of all email is spam nowadays.
A lot of bandwidth would be freed up if there was no spam.
There is too much junk mail in the world today.
