Free Music

This album is available for free download right now. I saw it on a friends blog, then our pastor out a link on his facebook. I saw her picture and she looked a little familiar, but I couldn’t figure out why. Tim recognized her right away as someone that we went to Simpson with. So I looked her up and I couldn’t find her. Then found out she got married so I had to do some searching and found her in my year book from there and then I recognized her. Anyway, she has 3 CD’s out this is her latest one, and it’s pretty good.

Many feelings

I’m feeling…

Amazed - Tyler is growing so much. He is smiling at people now, trying to lean to roll over, and “talking” when you talk to him. At his 2 month check up today he is in the 90th percentile for height and weight, Caleb was always in the 20-30th percentile so this new for me. He has grown out of most of the 0-3 month clothes so I shouldn’t be surprised.

Relieved - Tim got the rest of his stitches out yesterday. Besides having a small bald spot on his head and possibly a scar on his finger he is totally fine from his accident. After seeing the car, we can’t believe he came out of that the way he did. In a weird way it was nice to see the car, if anything proved that God is in control seeing that Tim walked away from that accident with the car looking the way it did and him the way he did was a miracle.

Disappointed - The school year has started for some people. There are 3 openings that I could take, but none of them sounded like a job that i really wanted. There was also a job posting to teach ASL at Cabrillo, it sounded like a good job. I applied, I got a call about coming in for an interview and teaching demonstration. Then I got a call today, instead of hiring someone they are just canceling the class. So now I don’t know what I’m going to do.

Tired - Having 2 kids is tiring. Having 1 kid who wakes up 2-3 times during the night to eat also adds to the tiredness.

Pics

I take pictures. I have many friends and family that take awesome pictures and even some that get paid for it, my pictures are not that professional looking. Every once in a while I will try to take that cool photo journalistic shot, or something with a cool depth of field, or use one of the settings other then “auto” or “P” and sometimes they come out looking pretty good, sometimes not so good. Mostly my pictures are taken to help me remember stuff or so I can show other people things. And most of them are of my 2 boys.

Now that I have the iphone most of my pictures are taken with that but I still take pictures with my regular camera (Canon Digital Rebel) too. The iphone takes pretty good pictures, and I always have it with me so I have been taking more pictures with it recently. These pictures don’t make it to our main site because they look bad compared to the pictures that Tim takes with the 40D so I put them on my flickr page. When they stand alone they don’t look so bad. I don’t take pictures with my other camera as often since it is bigger and I usually forget to bring it places.

I decided that I wanted to get back to what we used to do on our website and have something similar to the old Caleb daily pictures page. Mostly I want to make sure that we don’t have obviously less pictures of Tyler then we do of Caleb. But then I soon realized it is way too much work to remember to take daily pictures of both boys, so I now plan on taking pictures whenever I think about it and put them up on my flickr when I get around to it. That should be doable. So I set up 3 sets on my flickr set that I will keep at the top of the page and try to semi-regularly keep updated. Caleb and Tyler each have their own set and then there is a set with pictures that have both kids.

I think it will end up being a fun way to see how they have changed and grown over time. Already you can see a huge difference in Caleb from the first to the last picture. His pictures only go back to when he was 18 months old or so because those are the only ones I have on my computer that I took with my camera. Tyler’s pictures start from when he was born and although he is only 6 weeks old you can already see changes in him too.
